FALL 2021 AUDITIONS ARE NOW CLOSED!

Thanks so much to everyone who submitted an auditions video for Fall 2021 virtual auditions! It was so lovely to see everyone’s faces and hear your voices.

Our auditions panel is working hard to review all of the recordings and will get back to everyone no later than Wednesday, 11/3 with our callback decisions. In-person (but outdoor) callbacks will be held in DC the weekend of 11/6 & 11/7.

Thanks so much!

(Missed auditions? No worries! We’ll be holding auditions again in 2022 so be sure to sign up for our auditions listserv here and we’ll send you an email when auditions open again!)

Summer 2021 Update!

With cautious optimism and some rusty singing pipes, The 18th Street Singers is slowly starting to get back together. While we are not holding auditions, nor are we working towards a public concert just yet, you will start to see pictures on social media and even a video or two of rehearsal as we get back into singing shape. As you might imagine, it feels wonderful to be able to make music together again after so long apart and we are thrilled to start connecting with our singing community.

Thank you again for all of your support over the last 17 months (and the 16 years before that). We look forward to seeing you again in just a bit longer.

Keep on singing,

The 18th Street Singers

GivingTuesday 2020

#GIVINGTUESDAY 2020

This year has been a difficult one. While responding to and caring for our neighbors during the health crisis take precedence, we know that people and organizations are feeling the financial strain. In the performing arts world, not being able to gather for concerts and events in the ways we normally would has financial consequences even as we do our part to protect the health of our members and community.

If it makes sense for you financially, please consider allocating what you would have spent on tickets or performances this fall & winter for donations to local arts groups on this #GivingTuesday.

To support the 18th Street Singers, there are 2 easy ways to donate.

     1) Make a one time or monthly donation through the PayPal button below

     2) Mail a check made out to "The 18th Street Singers" to:
18th Street Singers c/o Lily Roberts (Managing Director)
115 New York Ave NW, Unit #2
                Washington, DC 20001

No gift is too small to make an impact to the organization of your choice. If we are the lucky recipients of your tax-deductible #GivingTuesday donation, know that it will help us continue to connect with audiences and the arts community when we can safely gather again.  Thank you!
