HEARTSONG OF A NATION: AN AMERICAN CHORAL TAPESTRY

Music is the cultural fabric of America. Gathered from different places and times, made with different traditions and melodies, these songs echo the resilience and spirit of a nation forging its path over changing centuries.

Across five sections, the 18th Street Singers spring concert—"Heartsong of a Nation: An American Choral Tapestry”—is an immersive journey through the songs of America, inviting audiences to embrace the diverse voices and stories that shape our collective choral tapestry.

Thank you for a cozy Winter’s Night!

Winter 2024

Only a little bit of time has passed since our winter concert, Winter's Night, and we are still processing the sheer intensity of this concert series; from the gorgeous music to the two sold out in-person audiences plus over 200 people tuning in for the livestream.

Thank you to composer Magnús Ragnarsson & family, the delegation from the Icelandic Embassy in DC, and our family & friends who joined us, both in-person and virtually. Your support makes what we do possible and we are so grateful to have been able to share our music with you!

But we are far from done! Stay tuned for announcements about our spring season and what's next!
